YnNi Teg are developing a site for a second 900kW wind turbine. This will generate c. 2,000-2,300 MWh per annum and we aim to provide an estimated £150k of community benefit funds over the operational lifetime of 25 years.
The project has full planning consent and we anticipate installation and commissioning of the turbine in 2026.
We are excited to announce a major milestone for the Penrhiw Fach community energy project: the erection of the wind turbine is scheduled to begin in June 2026!
Following installation the project is on track for commissioning and energisation by the end of June.
