Ynni Teg is working with Community Energy Wales to establish a portfolio of community-owned solar farms providing power to a national utility company based in Wales. The electricity generated at each solar farm will be supplied via a ‘private wire’ connecting directly to an operating plant at various site locations in Wales. The intention is that, if successfully developed, local communities will be invited to invest in the assets and local benefit funds established.
